As an applications engineer, you will be responsible for switching power supply systems development and design engineering.

• →Researches and defines switching mode power supply topologies based on the specialties of the company's products
• →Helps develop algorithms to automatically optimize power supplies using PI’s products and assist in developing the PI Expert Software Suite
• →Assists in new product development and research new applications for both new and older generations of Power Integrations’ IC products
• →Designs and develops switching power supply units (psu) using the company's products for design documentation/training material or customer requirements
• →Evaluates switching power supplies built with the company’s products
• →Provides switching power supply design support and technical advice to the company's customers worldwide
• →Researches and write technical application materials for publication and presentation at technical conferences, industry seminars, trade magazines and data books
• →Other duties as assigned

• Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• 2 years of experience as Power Supply Design Engineer or design experience in any of the following areas:
  • power converters/conversion/management
  • switching/switch mode power supply units (psu)
  • inverters
  • power electronics design equipment
  • analog electronics design
  • control loop design
  • power magnetics design (transformer, chokes or inductors)
• Experience designing power electronic circuitry for industrial electronic equipment or consumer devices
