Senior Aviation Safety Compliance Supervisor

To assist Senior Manager Group safety to meet regulatory (CAASL) and industry (IATA) safety compliance requirements in liaison with internal stake holders and external organizations/authorities by planning and executing all components and elements of safety management system with necessary coordination. Special emphasis should be given to safety assurance components where safety audits/inspections pertaining to all disciplines are planned and conducted in accordance with Safety management System Manual with coordination and follow up. Job Accountabilities: To plan and execute Safety audits/inspections across all internal operation disciplines and external service providers under organization SMS in coordination with respective safety managers to comply with regulations and industry standards. This includes preparing calendars, developing check lists for internal disciplines and service providers with the assistance of relevant safety managers, allocating resources, conducting audits/inspections, preparation of audit/inspection reports and ensure timely completion of risk register (AQD). Assist respective Safety Managers to Effectively respond to audit/inspection findings raised by Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka (CAASL) and external organizations (IOSA/ISAGO), Corporate quality and customer Airlines with Responsibility and delegated authority in responding with Corrective actions in a timely manner and handle correspondence independently to ensure the organization is in compliance to aviation standards. Update and maintain Audit/inspection documentation in hard copy/soft copy formats as per the laid down document storing procedure where information can be efficiently retrieved for internal purposes and during CAASL, IOSA, ISAGO and any other audits. Assist Relevant Safety Managers to develop and maintain trend analysis on safety audit/inspection findings in compliance with regulations for all disciplines and share trend analysis charts with relevant stake holders to strengthen the safety assurance of the organization. Assist Safety Managers to prepare presentation slides for the department meeting, relevant SAG meetings, Head of SAG meetings and SRB meetings using standard templates with accurate safety information and corresponding minutes are finalized and circulated amongst required participants. Assist SMGS during safety investigations by organising interviews, gathering required evidences, coordinating with external parties for efficient completion of such investigations and investigation reports to be stored as per the stipulated standards. Ensure all safety investigation reports are being entered into risk register(AQD) and recommendations given in the reports are being actions by the relevant internal disciplines and external service providers. Act as the main responsible person/administrator from the safety office for the Aviation Quality database (AQD) and conduct training to users from a safety perspective. Assist respective safety managers to complete AQD tasks in an accurate and timely manner. Requirements 6 passes at GCE O/L with 4 Credits in one sitting with a credit for English and 2 passes at GCE A/Ls with 5 years’ work experience OR 6 Passes at GCE O/L with 4 Credits in one sitting including a credit for English and full professional qualification (At least a Diploma Level with a minimum study period of one year or more) and 3 year's work experience. The upper age limit should be 30 years as of 01st November 2026 which is the closing date. Work experience in Aviation related background will be an added advantage. Be a Sri Lankan Citizen.
