Senior Software Engineer

• Design and develop product features end to end, from REST APIs to Angular user interfaces
• Design new technical solutions and present them to other teams
• Upgrade Java, Spring Boot, and Angular libraries, and resolve vulnerabilities in dependencies
• Refactor code and reduce technical debt
• Write automated tests and improve our CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling
• Perform code reviews and share knowledge with less experienced colleagues

• Solid experience with Java 17+ and Spring Boot 3 or 4, including an understanding of how Spring works
• Experience designing and implementing REST APIs
• Spring Data JPA / Hibernate and SQL with relational databases
• Modern Angular (standalone components, signals) and TypeScript
• HTML, CSS and CSS preprocessors (SCSS or LESS)
• Automated testing (JUnit, Mockito, integration tests)
• Git, Maven, CI/CD pipelines and Docker fundamentals
• Ability to independently design technical solutions and explain your decisions
  

A plus: Spring Boot 4 or major version migrations, Spring Security (OAuth2 / JWT), OpenAPI, Signal Forms, Angular Material, Ionic and Capacitor, Kubernetes, using AI tools effectively in software development
