Care Coordinator /Admin Assist Transplant Hepatology MMP

Day shift (Monday - Friday) hours 8:00am - 4:30pm

Essential Functions

• Serves as a welcoming professional point of contact for our Hepatology providers, internal departments and ancillary partners.
• Assists with patient referrals to ensure no gaps in care.
• Assists with prior authorizations as needed.
• Provides administrative support to hepatologists, including conference and meeting planning, licensure and credentialing coordination, and scheduling assistance.
• Assists administration with teammate event planning, expense reports, clerical duties, and other operational support needs.
• Ideal candidate is organized, personable, confident in communication, enjoys varied duties, and is able to build rapport easily. Healthcare experience is preferred.

High School Diploma or GED required. Computer experience required. Thorough understanding of Insurance coverage (FSC/Coverage/Plan types) and Medical Necessity policies preferred. Knowledge of medical records software preferred. Customer service experience required.
