We are seeking an experienced risk and fraud prevention leader to manage a team of analysts focused on detecting emerging threats, investigating suspicious activity, and protecting business performance in the evolving e-commerce landscape. In this remote role, you will develop analytical talent, strengthen investigative practices, and establish operational standards that improve fraud detection and incident response. You will collaborate with teams across data science, product, engineering, and customer success to turn real-world fraud insights into scalable risk strategies and machine learning improvements. By balancing fraud prevention, revenue protection, and customer experience, you will help enable smarter risk decisions and reduce financial losses. This position offers the opportunity to shape team capabilities, influence cross-functional initiatives, and contribute to more secure, seamless digital commerce experiences.

  • Serve as an escalation point for complex investigations, emerging fraud attacks, and time-sensitive risk incidents.

  • Establish and continuously improve investigative standards, operational playbooks, case review procedures, and incident response workflows.

  • Develop and refine processes for merchant onboarding, decision transparency, and risk rule design, particularly when historical data is limited.

  • Translate investigative findings and emerging fraud patterns into actionable recommendations that improve business outcomes and customer experiences.

  • Partner with Risk leadership, Data Science, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to identify capability gaps and transform fraud behaviors into reliable signals, features, and machine learning model improvements.

  • Provide subject-matter expertise during customer conversations, clearly explaining risk decisions, fraud trends, and effective prevention practices.

  • Coach analysts to communicate complex risk insights effectively to technical teams, business stakeholders, and customers.

  • Promote consistent analytical judgment and operational discipline while balancing fraud losses, customer friction, revenue protection, and intelligent risk-taking.

  • Represent the Risk Intelligence function in cross-functional initiatives, helping drive sustainable improvements in fraud detection and portfolio health.
