The Banquet Set-Up Attendant is responsible for preparing, arranging, and resetting banquet and meeting spaces for events while providing exceptional service and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and guest satisfaction. This position plays a critical role in ensuring all event spaces are properly configured according to banquet event orders (BEOs) and that guests experience seamless and memorable events.

As an On-Call Team Member, work schedules will vary based on business demands, event schedules, and operational needs.

• →Set up and break down banquet rooms, meeting spaces, and event venues according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
• →Arrange tables, chairs, staging, dance floors, podiums, linens, skirting, and other event equipment.
• →Ensure rooms are set accurately and completed within required timelines.
• →Inspect event spaces before, during, and after events to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are maintained.
• →Assist with room resets and venue conversions between events.
• →Transport and properly store banquet equipment and supplies.
• →Maintain inventory of banquet equipment and report damaged or missing items.
• →Support banquet service staff during events as needed.
• →Follow all safety procedures when lifting, moving, and storing equipment.
• →Communicate effectively with Banquet Managers, Event Managers, and other departments regarding event requirements.
• →Respond promptly to last-minute event changes and adjustments.
• →Maintain a professional appearance and provide courteous service to guests and fellow Team Members.
• →Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous banquet, hospitality, food and beverage, or event setup experience preferred.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Regularly lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and climbing.
• Ability to safely move banquet tables, chairs, staging, and other event equipment.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors as business demands require.

• Understanding of banquet room configurations and event setup requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).

This position operates in banquet facilities, ballrooms, meeting spaces, outdoor event venues, and resort public areas. Team Members may be exposed to varying temperatures, high activity levels, and frequent interaction with guests, vendors, and resort staff.
