Java Developer

InTTrust is a trusted Technology and Digital Solutions provider creating value for customers through a broad range of IT and Cybersecurity services and solutions.

We are seeking to hire two Java Developers to join our client team and support two portals of a leading insurance company and their web services. The engagement is full time for an initial period of six months, with an expected start date of 15/11/2026. Remote work is acceptable.

The ideal candidate has hands-on Java application support experience, a strong troubleshooting mindset, and the ability to work effectively in an operational support environment. For one of the portals, UI support is not included in the scope.

·        Solid professional experience in Java development.

·        Experience developing and maintaining applications using JSP (JavaServer Pages).

·        Good knowledge of JavaScript and web development technologies.

·        Practical experience designing and developing applications using Spring Boot.

·        Working knowledge of SQL, including querying and working with relational databases.

·        Demonstrated ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues across web applications and web services.

·        Provide troubleshooting and application support for two Java-based portals and their web services.

·        Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and support service restoration.

·        Support the backend, front-end and web-service components.

·        Perform Tomcat restarts when required, following the client’s operational procedures.

·        Collaborate with the client’s technical stakeholders and document issues and resolutions.

·        Experience supporting production portals in an enterprise environment.

·        Experience with Apache Tomcat operations.

·        Familiarity with incident-management and application-support processes.

·        Analytical and structured troubleshooting approach.

·        Clear communication and collaboration skills.

·        Accountability and attention to operational procedures.

·        Ability to remain calm and methodical during incidents.

·        Authorized to work in the EU.

·        Proficient in Greek.
