Industrial Electrician 12 Hours- Nights

Must possess a background in general maintenance with the following skills: welding (stick & mig), cutting torch, hydraulics, pneumatics, fabrication and knowledgeable of three phase power.

· Responsible for all electrical maintenance in the facility. Must be able to

trouble-shoot/replace electrical motors, trouble-shoot/repair controls, etc.

· Must have conduit experience (rigid).

· Should be familiar with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local codes.

· Responsible for assisting other maintenance technicians and performs other

general maintenance duties when assigned by the maintenance supervisor.

· Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics is preferred.

· Able to read and use electrical schematics

· Performs all preventive and predictive maintenance.

· Responsible for performing maintenance on trouble-shooting equipment.

· PLC based controls and ladder logic.

· Performs all general maintenance duties when assigned by the department

supervisor.

· Mechanical skills needed include:

· power transmission, drives and conveyors

· fans, drives and operation theory

· hand tools and their use

· general metal working knowledge

· boiler operation and maintenance

· basic welding theory and application

· cutting torch

· hydraulics and pneumatics

· Understands LINKS work order/PM System documents and procedures.

· TPMs are a part of every position in the mill. This may include mandatory overtime for completion of TPM tasks.

· Understands facility fire protection systems, alarms, and controls, including spark

suppression system and related controls.

· Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic drawings.
