Responsibilities

→General understanding of the manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment operations, safety requirements and departmental procedures.
→Direct molding personnel to ensure orders are produced in a timely fashion and adhere to safety and quality standards in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
→Must be able to work independently and lead employees within a small group to ensure production schedule and quality standards are met and report issues to supervisor.
→Perform various data collection functions in PeopleSoft (ERP).
→Maximize yield and reduce scrap.
→Report department metrics.
→Verify order information and produce part(s) with the correct material, density, weight, size, and/or shape within quality tolerance to meet customer specifications while meeting productivity standards.

Prior experience in a manufacturing / industrial environment preferred.
Prior supervisory/lead experience preferred.

Must be fluent in the English language, both written and spoken.
Must be able to use simple math and use basic hand-held measuring tools.
Must be computer literate; Excel, Word, Outlook, ERP systems

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
