- Engage directly with customers to understand workflows, pain points, automation requirements, technology gaps, and emerging needs.
- Translate customer needs into clear product requirements, use cases, priorities, and solution concepts for product and engineering teams.
- Develop a deep understanding of the customer workflow, including how instrumentation, software, automation, data, and laboratory processes interact.
- Identify gaps in existing capabilities and opportunities where new products, integrations, or solutions could create differentiated customer value.
- Partner across software engineering, hardware engineering, R&D, product organizations, commercial teams, and innovation functions.
- Help shape product strategy and roadmaps that support the evolution toward increasingly automated and autonomous laboratories.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and their potential application within laboratory environments.
- Work across traditionally separate product areas to help create integrated, end-to-end customer solutions.
- Represent the voice of the customer throughout product development and prioritization.
- Build strong relationships with strategic customers and use those relationships to continuously test assumptions and refine product direction.
- Communicate product vision, customer requirements, priorities, and trade-offs to both technical and business stakeholders.
