What You'll Be Doing

  • Assessing, planning, and delivering midwifery care to women presenting to the Birthing and Assessment Unit across a range of acuity levels

  • Contributing to continuous quality improvement and supporting a culture of reflective, evidence-informed practice
What You'll Bring
  • Demonstrated competency in intrapartum care and fetal surveillance, including CTG interpretation
  • Experience working within a hospital-based birthing or maternity assessment setting
  • A clear commitment to woman-centred, culturally safe care that respects individual choice
  • Sound clinical communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Familiarity with SA Health clinical governance frameworks or willingness to develop this knowledge quickly
