Radiologic Technologist Lead

•     Position: Radiologic Technologist Lead 

•     Location:  Skokie, IL

•     Full Time/Part Time: Full time, 40 hours

•     Hours: M-F 7am-3:30pm

•     Required Travel: Yes, local

·         Perform radiographic exams/obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure their comfort.

·         Oversees the ortho suite and assists with ACC-B ortho workflow and efficiency.

• →Ensure that patient experience is a priority and that the department is maintaining a level of professionalism.

• →Handle patient recovery.

• →Stay on top of exam delays.

• →Keeps track of trends in productivity.

• →Be the contact person for the practice manager while maintaining a productive relationship with all employees in medical group.

• →Strong problem solving skills.

• →Knowledge of API/Radiant/Intelerad.

• →Will perform tech evaluations.

• →Make sure that all techs are up to date on licenses, CPR, DevelopU classes, and Flu shots.

• →Onboard new employees.

•     License: IEMA licensing required

•     Education: Certificate or Associate’s degree from an accredited radiology program

•     Certification: CPR certification required. ARRT registered.

•     Experience: 2-3 years of previous tech experience. Leadership/supervisory experience preferred.

•     Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills required
