Primary Location: United States (US) - Louisiana - Thibodaux Function: Factory Engineering (CA) Title: 2027 Intern - Manufacturing Engineering - 124730 Onsite/Remote:Onsite Position ## Your Responsibilities ## Manufacturing Engineering Intern - Thibodaux, LA As a Manufacturing Engineering Intern with John Deere in Thibodaux, Louisiana, you will support manufacturing operations by planning, coordinating, and executing engineering projects and process improvement initiatives. Working alongside experienced engineers and cross-functional teams, you will gain hands-on experience within our product delivery and order fulfillment processes while contributing to meaningful business results. In this role, you will apply engineering principles to solve real-world manufacturing challenges, analyze processes, support continuous improvement efforts, and help drive operational excellence. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. ## What Skills You Need * Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Master’s degree in Ag Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related degree. * Minimum cumulative GPA required of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale. * Previous internship, co-op, or project focused research experience. * Skills in using computer aided design, engineering tools, and/or programming language. ## What Makes You Stand Out. * Demonstrated leadership through academic, work, or extracurricular activities. * Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, or Six Sigma principles.
