Electrical Service Technician

Are you a skilled electrician who takes pride in delivering exceptional service and helping homeowners improve the safety, comfort, and functionality of their homes? Gold Medal is seeking a professional, customer-focused Electrical Service Technician to join our growing team.

In this role, you'll diagnose, repair, install, and maintain residential electrical systems while providing outstanding customer service and trusted solutions for homeowners.

• →Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and install electrical systems and components in residential homes
• →Deliver exceptional customer service and build strong customer relationships
• →Educate homeowners on repair, replacement, and financing options
• →Maintain company vehicle inventory, tools, parts, and safety equipment
• →Travel throughout the service area while coordinating with dispatch to ensure efficient scheduling
• →Complete required paperwork and obtain customer authorization for completed work
• →Meet performance goals and contribute to company growth
• →Assist customers in evaluating repair-versus-replacement solutions
• →Generate and schedule replacement consultations when appropriate
• →Consistently maintain high-quality workmanship and safety standards

• Previous experience as an electrician
• Residential service experience preferred, but not required
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Knowledge of local electrical codes and industry standards
• Ability to work collaboratively with inspectors, suppliers, and team members
• Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings
• Commitment to ongoing training and professional development
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds
• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Multiple service locations throughout the service area
