Job Summary

The Ski Maintenance Compressor Operator position is responsible for controlling the snowmaking pumps and air compressors required for snowmaking operations. Daily responsibilities include monitoring and optimizing pumping systems for maximum efficiency, controlling automated snowmaking equipment, performing routine maintenance on pump motors when not operating, and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues.

Required

• Must be 18 or older
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of mechanical systems
• Safety-conscious decision making
• Able to lift 50 pounds

Preferred

• Electrical or mechanical licenses or certifications
• Prior experience with automation controls
• Valid driver’s license and approved driving record

Job-Type: Seasonal

Typical Schedule

Days:

• • Varies - Based on the weather and opportunity to make snow, weekends and holidays as needed

Hours:

• • Rotating – Hours vary including evening and night work. Must be willing to work 40+ hours per week November-March

Compensation

• Pay: $17.00/Hour

Core Responsibilities

• Monitor snowmaking pumps and air compressors for optimum output
• Control automated snowmaking equipment virtually
• Perform routine maintenance on pumps and compressors
• Maintain clean work environment in snowmaking shop
• Other duties as assigned by management
