The Department of Paediatrics within the Division of Women and Child Health supports research initiatives aimed at improving maternal, newborn, and child health outcomes. The department conducts community and field-based studies and works closely with participants and families to ensure the successful implementation of research projects. This position will support study activities through participant identification, data collection, and field coordination in accordance with research protocols.

Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities include to:

→do household visits as per project protocol
→conduct maternal and newborn anthropometric measurements
→support the Senior Research Assistant during household visits and field activities
→provide any other logistic support required for the project
→ensure timely data collection and submission
→follow field protocols and report any challenges to the supervisor promptly
→perform any other task assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

You should have:

matric and above
one year of experience in a hospital or research facility
experience of public interaction will be preferred
ability to give oral instructions and information to patients and parents in colloquial English and/or Urdu
effective communication skills
demonstrating professional integrity
mature, reliable and responsible
ability to understand and follow instructions
ability to speak and understand job-related English and Urdu
basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel)
