Key priorities will include:
- Providing strategic financial leadership, developing and implementing a long-term financial management strategy aligned with CALHN’s organisational priorities, service performance objectives and financial sustainability.

- Leading the Finance Business Partner model, building trusted relationships with clinical, operational and corporate leaders and providing high-quality commercial advice, analysis and insights to inform strategic and operational decision-making.
- Driving business improvement and reform, identifying opportunities to enhance systems, processes, technology and ways of working to improve organisational efficiency, financial performance and sustainable service delivery.
- Translating data into actionable insights, establishing meaningful financial and operational performance measures that support resource optimisation, informed decision-making and measurable improvements across CALHN.
- Building leadership capability and a high-performing finance function, developing and motivating teams, fostering collaboration and shared accountability, and embedding contemporary financial practices and a culture of continuous improvement.
You will be an accomplished and values-driven financial leader with a strong track record in financial management and business improvement within a large and complex organisation. You will bring demonstrated success in strengthening financial performance, optimising resources, enhancing financial governance and delivering sustainable organisational outcomes.
As a strategic, analytical and influential leader, you will be skilled at navigating complexity, building trusted relationships and working effectively across clinical, operational and corporate environments. You will have proven experience in financial planning, management reporting and performance accountability, together with the ability to translate complex financial information into actionable insights that support informed decision-making.
