About the Role
~1 min readAt Bunnings Frame & Truss, no two days are the same. Based at our Wacol manufacturing site, you'll play a key role in supporting production operations, customer service, administration, and site coordination, helping keep our manufacturing processes running smoothly from start to finish.
As a Production Support Team Member, you'll work closely with site and regional teams, supporting everything from production documentation and payroll administration to stock control, invoicing and customer enquiries. You'll be joining a collaborative team where you'll gain exposure to manufacturing operations, production systems and business processes, with plenty of opportunities to learn and grow.
This is a varied role where you'll have the opportunity to:
Support day-to-day administration activities that help keep the manufacturing operation running efficiently
Prepare, process and manage production paperwork using specialised Frame & Truss systems
Assist with invoicing, payroll processing, purchase orders and stock administration
Support reporting, data entry, reconciliations and record keeping activities
Work across multiple teams including Production, Customer Experience, Technical, Sales and Finance
Help identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance service and operational efficiency
Contribute to a safe workplace by supporting site health and safety activities and reporting processes
Assist with team meetings, site functions and general office coordination
You're someone who enjoys staying organised, takes pride in accuracy and enjoys supporting a team to achieve great outcomes. You can balance multiple priorities, communicate confidently with a variety of stakeholders, and have a proactive approach to solving problems.
You'll thrive in a collaborative environment where teamwork, customer focus and continuous improvement are valued. Whether your background is in administration, customer service, reception, manufacturing support or a similar environment, you'll bring a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
An interest in manufacturing, construction, logistics or the building industry will help you get up to speed, but what's most important is your ability to build relationships, stay organised and keep things moving.
Previous experience in an administration, customer service or support role
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Experience using Microsoft Office and business systems
Confidence working with data, reports and documentation
The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A customer-focused mindset and collaborative approach to teamwork
Experience within manufacturing, logistics, construction or Frame & Truss environments is desirable but not essential
