Retail Shop Supervisor - Maltese Speaking

Our client, a well-established company in the home improvement and retail sector, is seeking a motivated and experienced Retail Shop Supervisor to join their growing team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily store operations, supervising retail staff, maintaining excellent customer service standards, and ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the store.

• →Oversee daily store operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with company policies and procedures.
• →Supervise, motivate, and support retail staff to achieve individual and team performance targets.
• →Ensure high standards of customer service and promptly address customer enquiries, concerns, and complaints.
• →Monitor sales performance and support the achievement of store sales targets.
• →Coordinate staff schedules, allocate daily tasks, and ensure adequate staffing levels.
• →Maintain attractive product displays, proper merchandising, and overall store presentation.
• →Monitor stock levels, assist with inventory management, and coordinate stock replenishment.
• →Ensure accurate pricing, product labelling, and promotional displays.
• →Support the training and development of team members to improve product knowledge and customer service skills.
• →Ensure the store is clean, organised, safe, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
• →Assist management with operational reports, sales updates, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• →Lead by example, actively supporting the team with day-to-day tasks when required.

• Previous experience in a retail supervisory or team leadership role.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and people management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
• Good understanding of retail operations, stock management, and merchandising.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with POS systems.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
• Experience in home improvement, DIY, household goods, or a similar retail environment will be considered an advantage.
