We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Biomedical Scientist to join a private laboratory in London. This is an excellent locum opportunity for a Histology Biomedical Scientist with strong routine histopathology skills, particularly microtomy.

Responsibilities

→Support a busy histopathology laboratory.
→Perform routine microtomy to a consistently high standard.
→Assist with embedding, staining and slide quality control as required.
→Work accurately while supporting laboratory turnaround times.
→Follow laboratory protocols and health and safety standards.

Requirements

HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist.
Previous experience working within Histology/Cellular Pathology.
Strong practical experience in microtomy.
Experience of routine histopathology techniques.
Knowledge of special stains and IHC is desirable.
