About Aventura Travel Agency

Aventura Travel Agency is a UAE-based travel business committed to delivering high-quality travel services and exceptional customer experiences. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant based in Cairo office, to support our Dubai office with daily accounting activities, financial reporting, reconciliations, and operational finance processes.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoices, receipts, and payments.
Support the Dubai office with day-to-day financial and accounting operations.
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in accordance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.
Perform bank reconciliations, supplier reconciliations, and customer account reconciliations.
Monitor outstanding customer balances, supplier payments, and collections, ensuring timely follow-up.
Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports, management accounts, and cash flow statements.
Reconcile travel-related transactions, including customer bookings, supplier invoices, hotel reservations, airline tickets, and other travel services.
Verify invoices, payment requests, expense claims, and supporting documentation before processing.
Coordinate with the Dubai management and operations teams to ensure accurate financial records and timely reporting.
Assist with budgeting, expense monitoring, and cost-control activities.
Maintain organized accounting records and ensure proper documentation for audits and internal reviews.
Ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations, VAT requirements, and financial procedures applicable to the business.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities and other finance-related assignments as required.

Requirements and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience; experience in travel, tourism, hospitality, or a service-based business is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Familiarity with UAE VAT requirements and accounting practices is highly desirable.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software or ERP systems.
Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills.
Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with a Dubai-based team while working from Cairo.
Ability to manage deadlines, prioritize tasks, and work independently with minimal supervision.
High standards of integrity, confidentiality, and professional conduct.
Good written and spoken English.
