LPN - Colonel Glenn Orthopaedics Clinic

• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse Program
• Valid LPN License
• Minimum of 1 year clinical nursing experience

• →Assist physicians and registered nurses with providing basic, direct patient assessment.
• →Performs intake exams and heath screenings, monitors vital signs, collect various swabs and specimens, and administers diagnostic tests.
• →Develop, communicate, and implement patient treatment plans by evaluating patient well being, reporting any needs to medical staff and explaining treatments and procedures.
• →Provides high standard of care and customer service to patients and families.
• →Ensures comfort and well-being of patients by performing care activities, such as feeding patients, changing dressings and bandages of wounds, and transporting patients from wheelchairs, beds, and gurneys.
• →Maintains organized medical records and fulfills records requests.
• → Participate in ad hoc research projects to improve performance management and patient care.
• →Performs other duties as requested.
