Care Assistants - Gosforth, Fawdon & Kenton (NE3) | Female Walkers

This is a walking role based entirely within the NE3 area. If you're kind, reliable want to make a real difference in your local community, we'd love to welcome you to our Be Caring Newcastle team.

You'll be supporting people in their own homes across Fawdon, Gosforth and Kenton (NE3).

• £12.75 per hour
• Mileage: 20p per mile for cyclists
• Full-time and part-time hours available
• Weekend availability required

We off block pay rather than pay-per-call, meaning you're paid from the start of your first call to the end of your last call within a block.

If you have previous experience caring for a family member or friend, you'll make an excellent Care Assistant. As a Care Assistant with Be Caring, you will:

• →Support people to achieve their personal outcomes, working alongside families and professionals
• →Provide dignified personal care that respects privacy and choice

• →Deliver personalised care based on individual needs, choices and preferences

You'll receive comprehensive paid induction training, including:

• Be Caring values and going Above & Beyond to meet personal outcomes
• Dignity and respect, safeguarding, and equality and diversity
• Confidentiality and professional boundaries
• Fluids and nutrition and safe administration of medication
• Moving and positioning, basic life support, and pressure sores (React to Red)
• Infection prevention and control, health and safety
• Learning Disabilities (Oliver McGowan Tier 1), mental health and capacity
