From our hatcheries to our “ready to eat” state of the art cooking facilities we service customers in the retail, food service and industrial sectors. We are proud of our support of the Canadian farm as well as our investment in the latest equipment and technologies at our facilities across Canada. Our test kitchens have the most current cooking equipment replicating that used in commercial establishments, to facilitate precision testing. This way you know the product you receive will perform to your expectations. We are proud of our long-standing partnerships with family-owned Canadian chicken farmers to produce high quality products.

Role:

To ensure that product is handled and kept in compliance with all internal policies, GMP and local and Federal Food Regulations (CFIA / HACCP).

Ensure that all loads are counted and accurately shipped

Load trucks in a safe and orderly manner according to route, ensuring load is properly secured and on schedule

Ensure orders are received according to Standard Operating procedures.

Ensure orders are picked and palletized according to customer requirements.

Ensure excellent knowledge of all products (packaging skids, etc.)

Ensure all paperwork is shipping/receiving filled out correctly and incompliance with corporate procedures

Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, shipping labels

Must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently

Must be able to read and understand customer orders

Heavy lifting is a requirement

Able to work in a cold environment

Must be able to keep up with line pace

Operate a forklift and power jack and RF gun- (training will be provided)

Evening Shift : 2:30pm - 11 pm. Monday to Friday

Overtime as required.

Exposure to wet/cold conditions – potential for ice and slippery working conditions.

Exposure to excessive noise.

Physically demanding – required long periods of walking/standing.

Required to do heavy lifting throughout the day.

Hairnet, clean smock, hearing protection, liner gloves and rubber gloves will be provided by the Company.

Steel-toe footwear to be supplied by employee.

Warm clothing required.
