Fraser Engineering is a Massachusetts mechanical contractor, doing HVAC, plumbing, process, and service work across New England. We’re looking for a licensed Master Electrician to lead the electrical side of our mechanical work and hold the license for the company.

This isn’t a role where you’re one of fifty electricians. You’ll own the electrical scope on our jobs, from wiring rooftop units, boilers, chillers, and VFDs to troubleshooting controls on service calls. You’ll also pull permits, work with inspectors, and help develop the next generation of field talent.

What you’ll do

  • Serve as Fraser’s Master Electrician of record and pull permits on our behalf
  • Install, wire, and terminate power and controls for HVAC, plumbing, and process equipment
  • Troubleshoot line-voltage and low-voltage/BAS circuits on service calls
  • Plan electrical scope with PMs, foremen, and estimators
  • Mentor journeymen, apprentices, and field technicians

What you bring

  • Active Massachusetts Master Electrician (Class A) license
  • 10+ years of commercial or industrial electrical experience, including 2+ at the master or lead level
  • Strong knowledge of motor controls, VFDs, three-phase power, and HVAC equipment wiring
  • OSHA 10 and NFPA 70E (or willingness to complete within 90 days)
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable record

Nice to have: experience at a mechanical contractor, BAS/controls work, other New England master licenses, prevailing wage experience

What we offer

  • $50–$60/hr based on experience, plus prevailing wage on qualifying public projects
  • Annual license bonus for licenses held on the company’s behalf
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) with company profit-sharing
  • Paid time off and holidays
  • Company vehicle, tools, and fuel card
  • Paid continuing education toward license renewals
  • Monday–Friday day shift, with overtime available
