Responsibilities

→Carry out preventative maintenance and servicing of industrial machinery and vehicles.
→Diagnose and repair mechanical faults and breakdowns.
→Maintain and repair forklifts, side loaders and shunter trucks.
→Carry out servicing and repairs on rigid trucks and trailers.
→Inspect machinery and equipment to identify potential mechanical issues.
→Respond to breakdowns and minimise equipment downtime.
→Maintain accurate records of servicing, repairs and maintenance activities.
→Ensure all machinery and vehicles are maintained in a safe and operational condition.
→Carry out mechanical fitting and maintenance of industrial production equipment.
→Support the maintenance of automated processing lines, profiling machines and steel-bending machinery.
→Work closely with production teams to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
→Follow company health and safety procedures and ensure maintenance activities are carried out safely.
→Assist with general mechanical maintenance and improvement projects as required.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years' experience in industrial mechanical maintenance, heavy vehicle mechanics or a similar environment.
Proven experience maintaining and repairing industrial machinery and equipment.
Experience working with forklifts, side loaders and/or shunter trucks.
Experience with rigid trucks and trailers.
Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Good understanding of preventative maintenance and servicing procedures.
Experience with mechanical fitting and industrial machinery.
Ability to diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns efficiently.
Ability to work independently and manage maintenance requirements with minimal supervision.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Fluent English (written and spoken) is an essential requirement.
