Senior Application Developer – AI & Digital Solutions (Ref: 2600010D)

MTR Corporation is expanding its AI Centre of Excellence (AI CoE) to accelerate and scale the adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI), including Generative AI, across the Corporation. The AI CoE brings together AI governance, engineering and platform capabilities, solution development and delivery expertise to enable business teams to turn AI opportunities into measurable business value. We are looking for passionate professionals to join our growing team and help shape how MTR adopts AI responsibly, securely and at scale.

• →Partner with business stakeholders to identify AI opportunities and translate business needs into practical solution designs and implementation plans
• →Design, develop and deploy AI and Generative AI solutions, including AI assistants, agentic workflows, RAG applications, process automation and system integrations
• →Lead technical delivery of assigned initiatives, ensuring compliance with functional, performance, security and governance requirements
• →Collaborate with business, technology, data and vendor teams to embed AI capabilities into business processes and enterprise platforms
• →Contribute to AI CoE best practices, Responsible AI governance, and continuous improvement of AI solutions and delivery methodologies

• Degree in Computer Science / Artificial Intelligence / Data Science / Software Engineering / Information Technology or a related discipline
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in software engineering, solution delivery, technical consulting, AI, Generative AI or data-driven solutions
• Knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents and modern AI application frameworks
• Experience in integrating AI solutions with enterprise systems, APIs, databases and cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS or Google Cloud
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills 
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
