Computer Tomography Technologist PRN (UAMS Health Benton/Bryant)

• High School Diploma or GED PLUS Graduate of an approved Radiology program
• New graduate or less than one (1) year of CT experience
• Registry eligible or Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• An Arkansas Radiologic Technologist License must be obtained before the start date.
• CT Advanced Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists must be obtained within 12 months of the date of hire
• Ability to Follow Oral Instruction, Read, and Write

• Bachelor’s Degree in Radiological Sciences
• 1 or more years of experience as a CT technologist
• Advanced Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Computed Tomography

• →Operation of CT imaging equipment and post-processing of data
• →Handling patients
• →Venipuncture
• →Use of EPIC
• →Call and holiday coverage
• →Communicate with patients, physicians, clinics, and other services in the hospital in an effective, professional, and courteous manner.
• →Responsible for maintaining their professional license(s), National Registry, and all annual competencies.
• →Other duties may be assigned to this position
