1st Shift Recycling Sorter / General Laborer

Recycling Works / Waste Connections has an immediate opening for a 1st Shift - Recycle Center Sorter to join the team in Elkhart, Indiana.

Schedule: Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• .Responsible for safely and efficiently processing incoming recyclable materials. 
• Will sort recycled material onto different conveyor belts and move material to the appropriate areas.
• Responsible the cleanliness of the recycling area and yard outside.
• Help maintain equipment such as baler and conveyor line.
• Assuming custodial duties as needed.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Ability to be on your feet for most if not all of the shift
