The opportunity

Join Pernod Ricard Pacific as a Finance Analyst and take ownership of financial planning, forecasting and commercial analysis for advertising and promotional investment across Australia and New Zealand. You’ll partner closely with Marketing, bringing financial insight to brand decisions, strategic planning and new product development.

As our Finance Analyst, you will manage marketing investment forecasts, strengthen commercial decision-making and evaluate the financial performance of new product initiatives across the Pacific business.

Reporting to the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis, you will work with Marketing leaders, budget owners, FP&A and Financial Services to identify risks, opportunities and actions.

This role is ideal for someone with strong finance experience who enjoys turning complex information into clear commercial insights and building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Lead the quarterly A&P rolling forecast process across Australia and New Zealand, including budget allocation and spend tracking.
  • Manage A&P controlling activities, including expenditure recognition, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, claims, and capex submissions.
  • Partner with Marketing teams to provide financial support, challenge expenditure, and deliver timely reporting and insights.
  • Build and maintain financial models for New Product Development projects, challenging assumptions and supporting gate reviews and post-launch analysis.

What you will bring to the role

  • 3+ years’ experience in finance, ideally in FMCG, liquor, or a similar commercial environment
  • Experience in forecasting and financial analysis, with the ability to support budgeting, planning, and commercial decision-making.
  • Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA/CA qualifications, or progress toward them, are highly desirable.
  • Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and communicate effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong systems capability, with exposure to PowerBI and/or JDE considered an advantage.
