With Cobb Amos now part of the Nock Deighton, we have brought together two established estate agency businesses, combining extensive local knowledge, experience and a shared commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Cobb Amos has built a strong reputation across Herefordshire and the surrounding areas, and our Leominster office remains an important part of the local property market. With the additional support, resources and expertise of Nock Deighton, we are committed to building on that reputation and continuing to deliver excellent results for our clients.

We believe our employees are key to our success. We are committed to investing in our people, providing ongoing training, professional development and opportunities for career progression within our growing business.

We are looking for a reliable, organised and detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our established lettings team in Hereford.

The role involves visiting rental properties to carry out detailed inventories, routine property inspections and end-of-tenancy checkout inspections, ensuring accurate records are maintained using our bespoke inventory software.

There will also be some accompanied property viewings, making this a varied, hands-on role for someone who enjoys working independently, meeting people and being out and about.

Previous experience in property inventories, inspections or the lettings industry would be an advantage, although we would also consider someone with the right skills and attitude who is keen to learn.

What We Are Looking For...

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has excellent attention to detail and enjoys providing a high standard of customer service.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate reports.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • A friendly, approachable and professional manner.
  • The confidence to work independently and manage their own workload.
  • The ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • The ability to remain impartial and professional when dealing with landlords and tenants.
  • Confidence using technology and a willingness to learn new systems.

Key Responsibilities

As an Inventory Clerk, you will play an important role within our Property Management team, representing Nock Deighton when visiting properties and meeting tenants.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out detailed property inventories at the start of tenancies.
  • Conducting routine property inspections on behalf of our landlord clients.
  • Completing end-of-tenancy checkout inspections.
  • Producing accurate and detailed reports using our bespoke inventory software.

  • Arranging appointments and communicating with landlords, tenants and colleagues.
  • Carrying out accompanied property viewings when required.
  • Supporting the wider lettings and Property Management team.
