Software EngineeringIntegration Developer

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking an Infrastructure Program Manager to join the T1 Infra Technology Team. This role is critical to the strategic transition of infrastructure operational knowledge into formal enterprise standards. The successful candidate will leverage deep institutional knowledge of Fab 1 infrastructure to analyze execution gaps and codify best-in-class workflows and processes. By transforming field experience into standardized playbooks, the engineer will directly mitigate execution risk and accelerate the operational readiness of the Fab 2 project, ensuring that the transition from construction to operations is repeatable and scalable.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Standardization Audit: Perform comprehensive audits of Fab 1 infrastructure execution to extract best practices and critical lessons learned.

  • Playbook Development: Author and maintain the official policies and procedures library for infrastructure integration, including detailed checklists, workflows, and operational processes.

  • Risk Mitigation: Directly reduce Fab 2 execution risk by codifying the infrastructure integration process, preventing the recurrence of known Fab 1 issues.

  • Stakeholder Alignment: Lead technical workshops with Infra Operations teams to validate and refine standards before site-wide deployment.

  • Process Integration: Ensure all newly developed standards are integrated into the broader T1 Infra Technology framework.

  • SME Guidance: Serve as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for infrastructure integration standards for new hires and cross-functional partners.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical) or a closely related technical field.

  • 5+ years of experience within a semiconductor infrastructure or operations environment.

  • Proven track record of developing technical standards, SOPs, or operational playbooks in a high-tech or semiconductor setting.

  • Deep functional expertise in infrastructure workflows, including procurement-to-installation cycles, construction-to-ops handoffs, and sustaining operations.
