The Personal Trainer provides members with customized fitness programs while educating them on proper nutrition, cardiovascular exercise, resistance training and attaining a healthier lifestyle.

Responsibilities

→Builds and maintains client base, instructs small group training or one-on-one training.
→Educates members of current health and fitness issues and trends.
→Executes individual fitness program design, demonstrates and teaches exercises while providing feedback on technique.
→Greets and makes members/guests feel welcomed as they enter and exit the facility. Treats all members and guests with respect.
→Ensures safety of guests/members and takes preventative actions to decrease risk.
→Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent high school certification or combination of education and/or experience.

One year experience as a Personal Trainer.
Strong passion for fitness/exercise.

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University.
