A postdoctoral scholar position is available in the Department of Pediatrics at Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, Pennsylvania, to conduct basic and translational research in pediatric cancer. The research will focus on elucidating the molecular and cellular mechanisms that drive neuroblastoma metastasis and resistance to immunotherapy, with the goal of identifying novel therapeutic strategies for high-risk and treatment-resistant disease.

The successful candidate should hold an M.D., Ph.D., or M.D./Ph.D. degree and have a strong research background in cancer biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, immunology, or a related field. Candidates with experience in tumor metastasis, tumor–immune interactions, mechanisms of therapeutic resistance, autophagy and regulated cell death, or cancer immunotherapy are particularly encouraged to apply. Experience with neuroblastoma or other pediatric cancers is desirable but not required.

Applicants should have a demonstrated record of scholarly productivity, strong scientific writing and communication skills, and the ability to design and conduct research both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.

Interested candidates should submit a brief statement describing their research interests and relevant experience, a curriculum vitae, and contact information for at least two professional references.
