As Senior Director, Commercial Analytics & Decision Science, you will shape the strategic direction of commercial analytics and transform complex data into actionable insights that drive business growth. You will build and lead a centralized analytics capability supporting an expanding portfolio of therapies for rare diseases. Partnering with senior leaders across Sales, Marketing, Forecasting, Market Insights, Patient Access, Finance, and Commercial Operations, you will influence critical business decisions and investment priorities. You will integrate patient, prescriber, account, access, promotional, and field performance data to uncover growth opportunities and improve commercial effectiveness. You will also develop an advanced analytics roadmap encompassing predictive modeling, patient journey analytics, customer segmentation, and resource optimization. This leadership role combines strategic vision, technical expertise, and hands-on execution in a collaborative, fast-paced biotechnology environment. Your work will help strengthen commercial performance, prepare for future product launches, and ultimately support the delivery of innovative treatments to people living with rare diseases.

  • Develop and execute the commercial analytics and decision science strategy for existing brands, new indications, and future product launches, ensuring alignment with business objectives and long-term portfolio growth.
  • Build an integrated view of commercial performance by connecting demand generation, patient identification, referrals, treatment starts, market access, conversion, persistence, prescriber behavior, account performance, promotional effectiveness, and field execution.
  • Lead advanced analyses to identify performance drivers, quantify commercial opportunities and risks, evaluate business outcomes, and deliver actionable recommendations to executive and commercial leadership teams.
  • Provide analytical leadership and strategic decision support for business reviews, launch planning, annual operating plans, customer strategy development, and post-launch performance assessments.
  • Establish and implement an advanced analytics roadmap covering customer segmentation, patient journey analytics, promotional response measurement, predictive modeling, next-best-action recommendations, and commercial resource optimization.
  • Create a structured process for analytics intake, prioritization, and resource allocation, ensuring teams focus on the highest-value business questions and minimizing duplicated or low-impact work.
  • Establish consistent standards for key performance indicators, analytical methodologies, business definitions, documentation, and quality assurance while improving the efficiency of recurring reports and dashboards.
  • Collaborate closely with Forecasting, Market Insights, Field Operations and Excellence, Commercial Systems and Data, Sales, Marketing, Patient Access, and Finance to connect analytical insights with forecasting, commercial strategy, and field-level decisions.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a growing Commercial Analytics team, fostering analytical rigor, business acumen, accountability, and continuous professional development.
  • Manage external analytics partners, service providers, and related investments to ensure high-quality deliverables, effective collaboration, and appropriate use of resources.
  • Translate complex analytical findings into clear, compelling narratives and executive-ready recommendations that enable timely decisions and measurable business action.
  • Balance strategic capability development with immediate business needs, constructively challenge ambiguous requests, and guide stakeholders toward evidence-based decisions in a dynamic commercial environment.
