Compensation & Benefits

• $70,000-$80,000 base salary

Responsibilities

• Review architectural and design drawings for commercial construction projects
• Create detailed shop drawings for fabrication of steel stairs, railings, and miscellaneous metal products
• Submit shop drawings for architectural approval and incorporate revisions as needed
• Release approved drawings to production for fabrication
• Coordinate with estimators, fabrication teams, and drafting leadership throughout project execution
• Manage projects ranging from approximately $50K to $2M in value
• Ensure detailed, accurate drawings that support successful project delivery

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in steel detailing, structural steel detailing, steel drafting, or a related role
• Proficiency with AutoCAD
• Background in steel construction, structural steel, metal fabrication, or commercial construction
• Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings
• Experience creating fabrication/shop drawings
• Ability to work onsite full-time in Schuylkill Haven, PA

Preferred Qualifications

• Tekla Structures experience
• Architectural, ornamental, or miscellaneous metals detailing experience
• Drafting & Design degree or related technical education
• Experience in union or commercial construction environments
