✓If needed, unload bulk raw materials and load finished product from trucks to storage.
✓Transfer raw materials tank-to-tank and tank- to-mixers.
✓Set up, operate, and tend equipment that mixes, blends, or processes required ingredients in the manufacturing of finished products.
✓Verify and stage raw materials and packaging materials needed for the production of intermediate raw materials and finished products.
✓Select and measure or weigh ingredients specified for the manufacture of finished products.
✓Collect product samples for analysis and perform quality control testing when directed.
✓Maintains clean work area and promotes safe work habits.
✓Maintains good working relationships with all co-workers, customers and associates. Works in a participative manner with supervisor and co-workers.
✓Perform other duties as required.
✓Record production and test data for each batch on required forms.
✓Responsible for handling hazardous materials within proper safety parameters.
✓Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
✓Possess time management skills for reporting to work on time and to meet deadlines.
✓Possess a strong commitment to team environment and exercises personal initiative.
✓Ability to perform work with minimal supervision.
✓Good verbal and written communications.
✓Possess basic mathematics skills
✓Pass a pre-employment assessment test.
✓Proficiency with computers and computer software, including Microsoft Office products, desirable.
✓Capable of becoming fork truck certified.
✓Ability to complete all required training for required tasks for this position.
