On-Boarding Specialist

THIS IS A SUPPORT (AS NEEDED) POSITION: The On-boarding Specialist is responsible for delivering an efficient, accurate and customer friendly on-boarding experience to new hires and employee moves and transfers in the organization. This position is responsible for coordinating and/or conducting the verification of: education, credentials, certifications, references, work history, background checks, pre-employment physicals, drug screens, new hire paperwork, scheduling new hire orientation, reporting etc. The position requires the ability to multi-task and deal with large amounts of data while ensuring compliance and accuracy. This position requires the ability to accept responsibility for the success of the team utilizing appropriate collaboration and communication. This position will also be responsible for ensuring minimum qualifications and compliance standards are met. The on-boarding specialist is responsible for using and updating the appropriate systems throughout the pre-employment process. The on-boarding specialist will ensure timely follow up and problem resolution as it relates to the organizations hiring processes while maintaining excellent customer service skills. The position will also be responsible for other duties as assigned. Education Minimum Level of Education Required: High School completion / GED Additional requirements: * Area of study or major: Human Resources * Preferred educational qualifications: Associate’s Degree * Position specific testing requirement: Proficiency with Typing, Word, Excel and Outlook.
