Transportation Solutions Manager II

The Transportation Solutions Manager is responsible for leading complex transportation operations and developing innovative, customer-focused supply chain solutions within a 3PL environment. This role combines strategic transportation expertise with strong operational leadership, financial accountability, and customer relationship management.

The successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams, optimize transportation networks and processes, drive continuous improvement, and deliver measurable improvements in cost, service, productivity, and operational performance. The role requires strong analytical and transportation systems capabilities, knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements, and the executive presence to effectively influence customers, carriers, internal stakeholders, and senior leadership.

We are seeking a highly experienced, results-oriented Transportation Solutions Manager with a proven background in transportation management, customer relationship management, and P&L accountability within a 3PL or complex supply chain environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead complex transportation operations while maintaining high levels of service, cost control, and customer satisfaction.
• Develop and implement innovative transportation solutions aligned with customer and business objectives.
• Own financial performance, including P&L management, productivity, cost savings, and continuous improvement.
• Build trusted relationships with customers and serve as a strategic partner in identifying opportunities, resolving challenges, and supporting growth.
• Use transportation data and analytics to identify trends, improve network performance, and support fact-based decision-making.
• Leverage transportation management systems and technology to improve visibility, standardization, efficiency, and scalability.
• Maintain strong transportation regulatory, risk, and compliance practices.
• Partner effectively with carriers and other transportation service providers to improve performance and service.
• Develop, coach, and empower high-performing teams while establishing clear accountability and performance expectations.
• Communicate effectively with customers and executive leadership, translating operational performance into clear business outcomes.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, required

• Master’s degree in Transportation, Logistics, Business, or related field, preferred

• Four-five (4-5)years of experience in domestic and/or international Supply Chain and/or domestic and/or international Transportation Operations, required

• For International roles, will ideally to include freight forwarding, ocean, international air freight (parcel/cargo), customs brokerage, etc.,

• For Domestic Roles, will ideally include TL, LTL, Intermodal, Rail, & Parcel), preferred

• Previous experience in a Third-Party Logistics (3PL) Transportation Management role, preferred
