Responsibilities

→Assist with homework and tutoring program.
→Follow up with teachers and parents to ensure that the student completes necessary homework assignments.
→Provide supervision for the children in the program.
→Enforce all rules and fair discipline among program participants.
→Report any accidents/incidents to the director and complete the proper forms.
→Responsible for the set up and take down of games and equipment used for activities.
→Responsible for transporting children in The Salvation Army vans and enforcing safety rules.
→Positively interact with volunteers and visitors.
→Responsible for writing receipts and collecting money from program fees & concessions.
→Assist in planning and implementing Community Center programs.
→Assist during seasonal events.
→Responsible for cleaning up after meals and youth activities.
→Specific task of day camp support for 90 days or less during the summer.
→Attend corps events & programs, on occasional nights/weekends.
→Driving is an essential aspect of this position.
→All other duties as assigned.
