Bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and
experience.

| Preferred: |
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Knowledge of sponsored research administration and compliance processes.
• Experience working with faculty, Deans, Directors, Department Chairs, University administration and
regulators.
• Knowledge of computers and relevant computer programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
• Ability to use and maintain databases and websites.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and function as a member of a team.
• Ability to plan, organize, prioritize and coordinate work assignments and exercise initiative.
• Ability to manage work flow and processes.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills including the ability to write and edit reports, meeting
minutes and other documents.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service orientation
