Lead Relationship Banker

We are seeking a Lead Relationship Banker to join our team and deliver exceptional service to customers throughout the Capital Region.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

As a Lead Relationship Banker, you'll assist customers with a variety of banking transactions while identifying opportunities to recommend products and services that fit their financial needs. You'll serve as a key resource within the branch, combining outstanding customer service with operational support responsibilities.

In this role, you will build and strengthen customer relationships by providing personalized guidance on banking products and services, while supporting branch operations and contributing to overall branch performance. The Lead Relationship Banker plays an important role in creating a positive customer experience and helping the team achieve service and business goals. This position may require travel to other branch locations throughout the Capital Region. Saturday availability is required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Assist customers with deposits, withdrawals, payments, account maintenance, and other banking transactions.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products and services to help deepen customer relationships.
• Serve as a resource to branch team members by supporting daily operations and customer service initiatives.
• Assist with opening new accounts, renewing certificates of deposit, and servicing existing customer accounts.
• Resolve customer inquiries promptly while providing exceptional service and support.
• Support branch sales, service, and operational objectives.
• Maintain knowledge of bank products, services, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all banking regulations, security procedures, and internal policies.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Successful candidates will have a minimum of an Associate's Degree; Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field preferred.
• Prior experience in a sales and/or service-oriented environment required.
• Previous cash handling experience required.
• One to three years of experience in a customer-focused setting; banking experience preferred.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to multitask required.
• Demonstrated customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to utilize computer systems and banking technology efficiently.
