Full-Time Housekeeper Position (Baton Rouge, LA)

Location: Baton Rouge, LA
Compensation: $30–$35/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Start Date: ASAP

Overview:
A busy family of five is looking for a dependable, full-time Housekeeper to keep their home running smoothly. The family has three older children (ages 18, 15, and 12) and two small dogs. The home is currently about 3,500 sq ft, and the family is moving to a roughly 6,000 sq ft home about 20 minutes away in December or January. This is a great fit for someone who likes keeping a home tidy and organized, enjoys cooking simple family meals, and wants a consistent weekday schedule with one household.

Responsibilities:

• Keep the home tidy and organized every day, including the kitchen, common areas, and bedrooms
• Do general housekeeping, which will become the main cleaning role in the home
• Prepare light meals for a family of five (no food allergies)
• Run household errands, including grocery shopping, returns, and pickups
• Help the household settle into the new, larger home after the move
• Provide basic care for two small dogs as needed

Requirements:

• Previous professional housekeeping experience in a private home
• Comfortable cooking simple, family-style meals
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• Comfortable around small dogs
• Organized, self-motivated, and able to work on their own
• Must be able to provide 3–5 professional references
