CWI Technician, Eastern Massachusetts

Location: Eastern Massachusetts
Employment Type: Full-Time 

Pay Rate: Up to $60.00 per hour;  Candidates with a UTSW certification will be paid more. 

Mistras Group Inc. is seeking a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to for work in Eastern Massachusetts. UTSW or other NDT Certs a plus. This is a full-time position. Candidates must be local to Eastern Massachusetts.

• →Perform visual weld inspections in accordance with AWS codes and customer specifications.
• →Conduct Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspections following applicable procedures and industry standards.
• →Inspect welds, materials, and components for quality and code compliance.
• →Prepare accurate inspection reports and documentation.
• →Communicate inspection findings with supervisors and customers.
• →Follow all company safety policies and client requirements.
• →Maintain certifications and comply with applicable codes and standards.
• →Perform other inspection-related duties as assigned.

• Current AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to pass required background screening, drug screening, and client-specific requirements.

• Level II NDT certifications UTSW.
• Previous experience in industrial, manufacturing, fabrication, power generation, or oil & gas environments.
• Additional API or ASNT certifications are a plus.
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings, codes, and specifications.
