As an Armed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. • →Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• →Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of aerospace and defense facilities, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• →Monitor access points and verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, documenting visitor, contractor, and delivery activity as required.
• →Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• →Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while maintaining awareness of changing conditions throughout the location.

• Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
