• Use standard cost, pricing and financial models and tools
• Interact with Finance and Business Units to identify cost optimization and validate non-standard costing
• Provide quality assurance for all pricing in bid activity
• Manage non-standard pricing from qualification through to customer proposal submission, negotiation and contract signature
• Commercial solution development to include:
• Costing approach and cost optimization
• Capex and Leasing
• Terms & Conditions modeling including termination and penalty
• Billing, currency and payment terms
• Global Taxation and Treasury
• Service Level Agreements
• Recommend optimum pricing to meet internal / external win themes at minimal risk
• Ensure all residual risk is financially accounted for
• Keep regional leadership informed of all financial and pricing aspects of the deal, including the deal’s commercial model, pricing, capital investment and necessary approvals
• Ensure compliance with company regulations, including bid process, Schedule of Authority, etc.

 

 

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar pricing function
• Bachelor Degree in relevant area
• Sound commercial experience to properly structure and articulate commercial scenarios and their associated business and risk impact at a detailed level
• Strong Excel skills
• Strong communications skills
• Broad technical knowledge of IT and managed data networks
• Keen on working in the telecommunications / IT environment; prior experience in a similar industry is a plus
• Ability to engage and partner with account team to create winning financial solutions in a competitive market place.
• Ability to quickly identify/ quantify/ qualify/ report financial issues and risks and work to resolution
• Keen understanding of risk and risk mitigation techniques, ensuring risk is understood and under control
