Join our Finance Intercompany (IC) team and work on impactful projects leveraging fundamental accounting concepts and principles across variety of countries in Asia. This internship offers exposure to SAP and Global Business Services’ finance environment.

Responsibilities

→Support the team on daily intercompany accounting activities
→Assist with charge-in and charge-out service billing, and material invoice processing
→Support cash application activities and follow-up where required
→Assist with month-end closing activities preparation
→Develop Excel and data analysis skills via real business data and reporting tasks
→Support intercompany projects and other ad hoc assignments as required via SAP and GBS finance environment
→Adhere to company policies, internal controls, and compliance requirements while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality of financial information
→Participate actively in training and development opportunities while working closely with a dedicated buddy/mentor to build intercompany, analytical, and professional skills

Degree in Accounting, Finance or related fields of study
Strong interest in accounting operations and financial processes
Basic understanding of accounting concepts
Microsoft Excel proficiency (e.g. PivotTable, basic formulas)
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and high accuracy for accounting tasks
Good analytical and problem-solving ability
Good organization, following standard processes in day-to-day tasks
Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment

Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage

Knowledge and interest in SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems
Experience with Power BI or other reporting/analytics tools
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (e.g. Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP)

Previous internship, project, or coursework related to accounting or finance
