Job Description & Summary 

We are seeking an experienced SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) / Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Consultant with 4-10 years of SAP experience and strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud and Private Cloud implementations. The consultant will be responsible for designing, configuring, testing, and deploying SAP EAM/PM solutions across Greenfield, Brownfield, and Selective Data Transition projects. 

The ideal candidate should possess strong functional knowledge of maintenance processes, asset management, work order management, preventive maintenance, and integration with other SAP modules. 

*Responsibilities: 

 

Business Process & Solution Design 

• Gather and analyze business requirements related to:  

• Asset Management 

• Maintenance Operations 

• Preventive & Predictive Maintenance 

• Breakdown Maintenance 

• Calibration Management 

• Maintenance Planning & Scheduling 

• Conduct Fit-to-Standard workshops for S/4HANA Public Cloud implementations. 

• Design SAP EAM/PM solutions aligned with SAP Best Practices and industry standards. 

• Prepare Functional Specifications and Solution Design Documents. 

SAP Configuration & Implementation 

• Configure SAP PM/EAM processes including:  

• Functional Locations 

• Equipment Master 

• Classification & Characteristics 

• Maintenance Notifications 

• Maintenance Orders 

• Task Lists 

• Maintenance Plans 

• Measuring Points & Counters 

• Work Centers 

• Permits & Safety Management 

• Configure SAP Fiori applications related to Asset Management. 

• Implement S/4HANA Public Cloud scope items and Private Cloud best practices. 

Integration Responsibilities 

• Work closely with:  

• SAP MM (Materials Management)

• Support integration with:

• SAP Mobile Asset Management (Service & Asset Manager) 

Project Delivery 

• Participate in:  

• Requirement Workshops 

• Solution Design 

• Configuration 

• Testing 

• Data Migration 

• User Training 

• Go-Live & Hypercare Support 

• Prepare and execute:  

• Unit Testing 

• System Integration Testing (SIT) 

• User Acceptance Testing (UAT) 

Data Migration Activities 

• Support data migration of:  

• Equipment Masters 

• Functional Locations 

• Task Lists 

• Maintenance Plans 

• Open Work Orders 

• Measuring Points 

• Work with SAP Migration Cockpit and data conversion tools. 

Documentation & Governance 

• Create and maintain:  

• Business Process Documents 

• Configuration Documents 

• Test Scripts 

• Training Materials 

• Functional Specifications 

• Ensure compliance with project governance and quality standards.
