Tax Compliance Officer

Our client is seeking a Tax Compliance Officer to join their team. The candidate can be based either in Port Elizabeth or East London Handle general tax administration and processing tasks Assist with the preparation and submission of individual and company income tax returns Attend to SARS-related queries and correspondence Conduct physical visits to SARS branches Support senior tax consultants with day-to-day case management Maintain accurate records of client interactions, documentation, and submissions Liaise with clients to obtain tax information and provide status updates Liaise with clients regarding their engagement status with the company Liaise with clients regarding their outstanding debt and collection thereof Requirements Grade 12 At least 2 years' experience working in a tax-related position in South Africa (SARS experience) Strong understanding of SARS systems (eFiling, e@syFile, etc) Working knowledge of Income Tax, Provisional Tax, and dispute processes Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Valid South African driver’s license and own transport (for SARS visits)
