Transportation Analyst

We are looking for a Transportation Analyst to join our Transport & Logistics team at our European Distribution Center in Machelen. In this role, you will play a key part in optimizing transportation performance, supporting strategic decisions through data analysis, and identifying opportunities to improve service levels and cost efficiency.

Location: Machelen, Belgium

As a Transportation Analyst, you will:

• →Analyze transportation data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
• →Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools to support decision-making
• →Create and optimize Power BI dashboards to provide actionable business insights
• →Monitor transportation spend and support freight budget planning and follow-up
• →Evaluate carrier and supplier performance against service and cost targets
• →Perform data-driven simulations and analyses for new transportation scenarios and vendors
• →Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, service, and cost efficiency
• →Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve transportation processes and performance

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, Analytics, or a related field
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an analytical role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience building and maintaining reports and dashboards in Power BI
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken
• Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills

• Experience working with SAP or other ERP systems
• Experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, or distribution environments
• Knowledge of transportation pricing, freight operations, parcel, or air freight
• Experience with TMS solutions
• Knowledge of Business Objects, Power Query, Microsoft Automate, or similar reporting tools
• Experience with Lean methodologies and continuous improvement
• Dutch language skills
